Maid Naturally began as a shared vision between two friends, Heather and Ruthanne. In 1996, we both moved to Spokane to attend Bible School, and by 1998, we were married, starting families, and deepening our passion for natural living. With little ones crawling around, we quickly realized that caring for our families went beyond just wholesome food—it also meant using safe, effective products to clean our homes. And so, in 2006, Maid Naturally was born!
In 2008, Heather’s husband, Nathan, joined us full-time, bringing his expertise and all-around handyman skills to the business. From making products and managing inventory to fixing anything that needs repairs, he keeps everything running smoothly. You might even catch him answering phones or stopping by homes for high-dusting—tackling the hard-to-reach spots that we don’t want our staff climbing to get!
Our kids, naturally curious and always getting into everything, became the ultimate product testers. Over the years, as our packaging evolved, our commitment to simple, natural formulas that truly work never changed. As they’ve grown, Annaliese, Gina, and Kass have stepped into leadership roles—helping with training, estimates, and customer service.
What started as a small dream has flourished into a thriving business with a team of 25 talented staff members, proudly serving Spokane and the surrounding areas. Our natural cleaning products are now sold nationwide through our online store, Azure Standard, Pure Basics Collective, and select brick-and-mortar locations—spreading our passion for a cleaner, greener way to care for homes.
